Basics

When not playing with my kids, riding a bike, fighting entropy, or sneaking a moment with my wife, I do economics, mainly at the intersection between macro and finance with an emphasis on time series econometrics

In January 2006, I joined the economics department at Johns Hopkins after many very happy years at the Federal Reserve Board.

I was recently appointed as inaugural director of the fledgling Center for Financial Economics at Johns Hopkins. We are just getting started, but expect more info. soon. » more bio details
